How to adjust the Home button click speed on your iPhone or iPad
It seems that Apple continues to stockpile different tweaks and settings into the Accessibility section of the Settings app. While the main idea behind the Accessibility section is to better help those with physical impairments (hearing or sight) better use their iDevices, there are a bunch of great items located there for all users.
Find Accessibility
To adjust the Home button click speed, we will need to open the Settings app and head down to the Accessibility section. So that’s Settings -> General -> Accessibility.
Adjust Home Button Speed
In Accessibility, you will see Home Button under Call Audio Routing. Tap on this and then adjust your Click Speed in the following section. Default will be the standard option and you can select either Slow or Slowest.
When you make a selection from Slow or Slowest, your phone will vibrate to show you how long the duration between clicks will be. In comparison to the other 2 options, you’ll be able to see how much faster Default really is. Test it out by triple-clicking for the Accessibility shortcut or double-clicking to launch the app switcher.
So, if you were having issues with the Home Button working too quickly, the options will definitely help with that. And if you find the changes to be too slow you can always revert back to the default by going back toSettings -> General -> Accessibility -> Home Button
